The Videography Process
This stage is all about sharing ideas. Then, clarifying the brief and budget before we make arrangements to shoot.
Pre-production will dictate when and where shooting takes place, for how long, and how many crew members are required. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like at this stage. The more we understand your needs, the better the result.
This is when filming takes place. Our crew will be on site filming, carrying out interviews and gathering all the necessary footage.
We will ensure your team is at ease and deal with permissions, if necessary, before filming. We will use what you provided in your brief to minimize disruption, making production fast. As well as thorough and within your specified budget.
This stage is all about editing and delivery. We will edit footage to your specifications, then add assets like music, text and graphics. Finally, we will present you with a draft before the deadline.
You will have the opportunity to review the draft and suggest possible amendments. The final video files will then be released for download once your invoice has been settled.
Costing your Project
Costs vary depending on what your project requires.
By receiving a thorough BVU Brief from you, we will be able to accurately quote for the videography project. We can then work to keep the costs within budget.
The easiest way to get the ball rolling, is to give us a budget and outline for your project. We can then convert that into a proposal for you.
Projects are generally costed based on the time it requires to make everything happen.
Camera operators and editors charge a day rate. Further costs may be incurred by additional requirements such as travel, specialist equipment hire and rapid turnaround. These costs will always be discussed and clarified before we begin videography.
